No. 3 from the series "Claviermusik auf Instrumenten der Meister", an RCA reissue appearing in 1968. The original LP pressings of this DHM series from the early 1960s are extremely difficult to find (even in Germany). Fortunately, a photo of the Hammerflügel from the famous maker Michael Schweighofer appears on the RCA cover. This instrument, as beautiful to see as it is to hear, sits in the vicinity of the Schumann-Piano in the instrument collection of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna.
